SINGLE MOMS CAUSE MENS’ INCOME TO FALL: Study of Men’s Falling Income Cites Single Parents

From The New York Times:

The decline of two-parent households may be a significant reason for the divergent fortunes of male workers, whose earnings generally declined in recent decades, and female workers, whose earnings generally increased, a prominent labor economist argues in a new survey of existing research.

David H. Autor, a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, says that the difference between men and women, at least in part, may have roots in childhood. Only 63 percent of children lived in a household with two parents in 2010, down from 82 percent in 1970. The single parents raising the rest of those children are predominantly female. And there is growing evidence that sons raised by single mothers “appear to fare particularly poorly,” Professor Autor wrote in an analysis for Third Way, a center-left policy research organization.

This is so much a part of the Hispanic culture. Every single Hispanic woman I know are raising kids with no dads around. Them this cycle repeats in the next generation. The Hispanic community needs to do something NOW.

Agreed. It’s so common in the city I live in that some of the single moms think something must be wrong with any guy who hasn’t knocked up some random chick. I contribute to this by not dating any single moms, a decision I made long before hearing about Leykis 101 and word should be spread to other guys who don’t have any kids.

Should single dads not date them either? I warned one not to and we argued about it and now we’re no longer friends.

The truth is 75% of all divorces are filed by women. Maybe if these stupid bitches would stay with the baby’s daddy, then maybe all these single moms wouldn’t be in the fix they’re in.

John Freeman, most people are referring to single moms as young girls or women who never married the father’s of their children. That is why they are usually called, “Baby Mamas” instead of ex-wives. These were one-night stands, short-term boyfriend/girlfriend situations, etc. that can end up with all these single moms.

I don’t consider a divorced woman with children a single mom because she was married to the guy who fathered her children. Yes, it is likely she will get child support if she gets custody of the children, and Tom and his listeners have always said that it is best for the kids if the former husband does follow through and pay the child support.

However, women who were never married to the so-called fathers tend to be women who either never finished school or have terrible jobs to where they are either on some government assistance and is usually not considered a very good mom because all she cares about is trying to get her grove on at the club and bringing in strange men to her residence.

You guys need to use protection at all times so that you don’t end up with children that are constantly on the poor side of life, having to live with a mom that can’t support them properly. If the condom breaks and she ends up having the child, get a DNA because she will pin the baby on anyone she had sex with.

Married women do ask for divorces, yes, in most cases, but that doesn’t make them a “baby mama” or single mom after the divorce. Believe me, if you were a woman who married someone that they thought was one person but he turned out to be someone else, you’d file for divorce too.

The best option for you guys is to never marry, live with a woman, or have a serious girlfriend—and get a vasectomy as soon as possible. We have enough poor children from actual single moms, baby mamas who don’t give a damn about their own kids and their futures.

The vicious cycle of single parenthood can also be traced to women wanting to keep the child even after the father states he wants nothing to do with the child. Women raise the argument that – well, the man should have used protection. This is a specious argument as most of these women will purposely miss taking the pill in order to get pregnant. A friend of mine told me her cousin goes out every weekend to the Wall Street area of NYC in an effort to find a high net worth guy to unknowingly father her child. Her goal is to “go back to his place” (thereby obtaining his address) and have sex (without protection) – as she informs them she is ‘barren’ or some other such nonsense – the guys, for their part, as Tom says, should be using condoms 100% of the time (www.condomjungle.com) – and to have them impregnate her so she can, and I quote “live on easy street”. Sure, the guy might end up paying child support but, then she is out there to do it again to another unsuspecting guy. At this point, she will be raising the child(ten) on her own, and likely denigrating the very men that she tricked.
