    it’s nice to have the choice to listen to AM or a CD if i want to. i would rate this as a negative, not a positive.

    I agree with capper that this would be a negative. I have an extensive collection on CDs and loading them onto my iPhone would take forever and I just don’t want to take the time and effort to do so. Also, AM radio is good to have in case of an emergency as it transmits for longer distances than FM. Having a car without a CD player would be a negative for me as well. If this catches on, it would also be a nail in the coffin for local music stores as everyone would necessarily switch to streaming music or iTunes.

    By the way, did anyone else notice that new BMW looks like a Star Wars stormtrooper helmet mashed down? Imagine that, leave it to the Germans to come up with a stormtrooper looking car.
