Its up to the owners who they want in their restaurant. I have a 5 year old son, and when I go somewhere like a nice restaurant, where kids don’t need to be, I leave him at home with a babysitter. There are places where you can take your kids, and places you cannot. Not everyone wants to hear your screaming kids while they are trying to eat.

I completely agree with that policy. If people with kids don’t like it they can lump it!

Nobody wants to smell shitty diapers or hear screaming offspring while dining.

I love how that businessman was unapologetic and openly stated how his no-shrieking-brat policy has helped keep his business growing and growing for two decades! I love it! I’d have a steak there anytime and the nagging cunts they interviewed can go take their tots to Chuck E. Cheese or Mickey D’s! That’s what THOSE restaurants are for, ladies!

Think I’ll have to stop by and have the surf and turf at Shake’s Old Fisherman’s Grotto next time I’m visiting Fisherman’s Wharf in Monterey. Adults only for a pleasant dining atmosphere!

Why with those news items on TV (1), they always manage to only or merely catch the complainers on TV. Because when I read the TOP rated comments on dailymail website (2) on this subject, it looks like over 90% agrees with the restaurant owner (even people with kids).

So why do they only broadcast the complainers? I bet when they interviewed people, the mayority said they agree with the owner. And then they don’t broadcast 1 of the people that’s positive about it, nor do they mention thet alot of people are positive about this sign/policy.
Because the way they aired it now, it makes it look like that over 90% orso is against the owner his policy.
I hate coverage of “news” that isn’t at least somewhat objective (in their reports).

Fuck i wish more places had this policy. Im so sick of of people with kids not understanding that other people shouldn’t have to be burdened by your insufferable children. Adults should be allowed the freedom to enjoy a meal in an environment without the interruption or distraction of kids period. Just like in a casino or bar or strip club no KIDS..

I have 3 kids and BELIEVE ME I UNDERSTAND!….EVEN I DON’T WANNA BE BOTHERED WITH ALL THAT CRYING, WHINING, AND *&^*&%^% WHILE I’M TRYING TO EAT…It disturbs those that are trying to ENJOY WHAT THEY PAID FOR!…
