Yeah, the local dealers reserve the right to treat customers badly. Can’t have any manufacturers messing up a good monopoly by doing good by their customers. This is why people absolutely hate car dealers and the buying process. A classic cartel at work, protected by conservative state politicians for their cronies.

The law won’t pass. The law is a desperate attempt by dealers to control the sales process and service and ultimately the customers.
