Scientifically, nice (heterosexual) guys might actually finish last. A study published in Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin recently found that while men were attracted to nice-seeming women upon meeting them, women did not feel the same way about men.

It all makes sense, and you can think of a conclusion, even when the article doesn’t have any real outcome. Responsive woman = getting sex will be easier, thus more attractive, worth the energy talking with. Unresponsive man = not needy and more self confidence, mysterious and sexy.
