Trader Joe’s keeps its business partners out of the spotlight; both sides have incentives for keeping mum about re-branded products. But if you try things around the store, you’ll probably find a few that, um… strongly remind you of big-name favorites.

Bananas for 19 cents each. They sell produce by the item not per pound. This is my go to store if I need just a few items, that I don’t get at costco, and I may not have looked into it if not for Tom’s recommendation a couple of years ago. 1.5 liter bottle of water for 49 cents (if you drink bottled water).

    Tom,

Listening to Be Funny Live tonight made me realize you are The Last Great American Variety Show Host. I think of all the legends of TV and Radio who blazed the path to entertainment, and your show is the only one still carrying that torch. I remember all of the great variety shows my grandparents used to watch and before that, listen to on the radio; not only entertaining us, but showcasing the future stars of tomorrow before they make it big. When is the last time any of us can remember a classic event like Be Funny Live, and even more importantly being able to tune in each week and listen. I watch and listen to everything on demand, and while if I miss a show I enjoy catching up via premiumtom.com, that rarely happens because The Tom Leykis Show is the one and only show that I still make sure to listen in to live, just like my grandparents and parents did.

Furthermore, your talk topics as well as live news/current events coverage are always relevant and entertaining. The latest news, financial advice, life stories, and inspirational monologues on one channel. The world of high end wines and living the good life on another. Gary and Dino for great stories and pop culture. New Normal Rock for the gym, Pure Pop Hits for the weekend, All New Country for the commute, and Great Big Radio for the mornings, the New Normal has something for every part of my day.

Thank you very much Father, you have saved my life more than once, advanced my life beyond my wildest dreams, and truly have been the Father I’ve never had. I hope you have a great upcoming Thanksgiving, and even though millions of your sons won’t be there, please know that we are thankful to have had you in our lives, and in many ways would never have grown up to be the men we are today without you.

Thanks a million and Blow Me Up Tom!

    Pretentious.

It’s the first word to come to mind.
