With the New Normal crew on holiday, I have been enjoying the classic repeats these past couple of days. It reminds me of when Tom had to leave the airwaves in 2009 and I was left with old pirated YouTube audio. I loved them, but they were just a temporary fix. In 2014, we applaud the New Normal crew for being able to take the time off, especially Tom who needed a holiday. But it also reminds us that without the support of the listeners, we won’t have Tom there for us. Let’s remember that this is a business Tom is continuing to run. In this age where people expect things for free on the Internet, let’s not take Tom for granted. I’m sitting here with a shelf of books from Amazon.com which I used Tom’s link. I am a P1 subscriber since he came back and I am so grateful for the other P1 subscribers that believe and support Tom. I know that the P1’s want Tom to make that $1 at the end of his fiscal year. Let’s not just make it $1. Let’s make it more so that our boys ( Gary, Dino, and Mike) can also celebrate a job well done and respect well earned.
I want the guys to make over $100 instead of a dollar. To those listeners who have yet to subscribe, please do so, we won’t get stuck going back to YouTube videos. Let’s not take Tom’s immense talent for granted. See it as an investment in YOU. I learn financial tips on Monday, I get great topics to think about, I get to laugh every Wednesday, and even get legal advice on Tom’s show. Best of all, I have Fridays to call my dad and get the chance to talk about the week. You don’t get that on the radio. You don’t have this FREEDOM on the radio.
So on this eve before Tom and the crew come back, take a moment to think what would it be like if Tom wasn’t coming back.
Let’s make him get that $1 and even more. The P1’s are doing it. It’s now time for you, the casual listener to pay props to the guys. Tom is more than just weekly entertainment. He is our friend.
