“I mean, we’re all prejudiced in one way or another,” Cuban said. “If I see a black kid in a hoodie and it’s late at night, I’m walking to the other side of the street. He does not sound like a racist at all. He sounds like a rational human being with normal fears and anxieties.

He said he’d also cross the street if there was a tattooed, white guy (with shaved head) on his side of the street. This is called prejudice. Notice the PRE at the beginning of the word. Prejudice involves prejudging someone based on different characteristics. I don’t see how any of that would be racist.

I was taught that racism is ACTING upon your prejudice.

Now, it’s somewhat dumb of him to use the example of “a black kid in a hoodie” because I don’t see how said kid would be as suspicious as his example of the white guy.

Notice that the KID only has a hoodie. The white GUY has a shaved head and is tattooed.

    I don’t see racism, just prejudice. Maybe he’s a …classist(?).

Everyone has prejudice. Not everyone is a racist.

He can’t be racist because he’s Cuban.
