Full of racism and obsession with people’s races and ethnicities? Where young men go out on “St. Patty’s Day” with beers disguised in brown bags and plans to (as I heard when I lived there) go out and “beat up fags?”
I’d say, “it’s called karma.” That is, if I believed in karma.

I’m very aware of Boston’s racist reputation. I would never visit Boston for that very reason. If a racist got his or her arms and legs blown off, I’d say that was karma, but unfortunately, racists and bigots like the ones in Boston don’t get a scratch.
